Led mobile delivery within a lean team, owning React Native/Expo releases end to end — OTA updates, CI/CD, and the full App Store and Play Store lifecycle. Beyond the app: built a native module to keep location collection alive after process termination, designed real-time chat and live polls over WebSockets, and migrated from a managed platform (Convex) to self-hosted Socket.IO to control cost at scale. Also owned testing infrastructure (unit, integration, E2E with reliable backend seed data) and production operations across web, APIs, PostgreSQL, payments and AWS.

Engineering practice
I ship production mobile apps end to end — but the harder work is everything behind and around them: real-time systems, background services, testing infrastructure, and the cost decisions that keep a product alive.
Owned end-to-end delivery: EAS build profiles, release channels, safe Expo Updates over the air, automated submissions, App Store and Play Store compliance, review responses and production rollouts.
Built a native module to keep location logging alive after the React Native process was terminated, buffering locally and syncing to the server on reconnect — behavior the JS runtime can’t provide on its own.
Designed real-time chat and live poll updates over WebSockets. Moved from a managed platform (Convex) to a self-hosted Socket.IO service to control cost as usage grew.
Offline-first persistence so core features stay available on poor or absent networks, with tuned scroll and data fetching for low-end devices and considered loading, empty and error states.
Unit, integration and end-to-end (Maestro) testing backed by reliable backend seed data, so releases can be validated automatically across iOS and Android instead of by hand.
